FINBIZZ Balkans 2027 Announces Mark Esposito and Terence Tse as Keynote Speakers

Two leading international thinkers. One stage. One conversation about the future of business.

28 October 2026

FINBIZZ Balkans 2027 is pleased to announce Prof. Mark Esposito, PhD, and Prof. Terence Tse, PhD, as keynote speakers at its inaugural edition, taking place on 14–15 April 2027 at Sofia Tech Park, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Their participation represents an important step in FINBIZZ's ambition to establish a regional meeting point where global perspectives meet the real challenges facing finance, accounting, technology and business leaders across Southeast Europe.

Bringing together two internationally recognised thinkers whose work spans artificial intelligence, economic transformation, finance and business strategy reflects the central idea behind FINBIZZ: the future of finance and business cannot be discussed in isolation.

Meet the Keynote Speakers

Prof. Mark Esposito, PhD, is internationally recognised for his work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, strategy and the future of economies. He serves as Chief Economist at micro1 and is a co-founder of Nexus FrontierTech. His work explores how emerging technologies influence economic systems, organisational transformation and long-term competitiveness.

Prof. Terence Tse, PhD, is an internationally recognised professor, author and speaker whose work focuses on the convergence of finance, technology and business transformation. He is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Nexus FrontierTech and Co-Founder of the AI Native Foundation. His work connects technological innovation with the practical challenges of business strategy and decision-making.

Together, Esposito and Tse have developed a long-standing intellectual collaboration, contributing to international discussions on how organisations and economies can prepare for technological and structural change.

Their co-authored publications include:

  • Becoming AI Native: Charting the Next AI Frontier (2026)

  • The Great Remobilization (2023)

  • The AI Republic (2019)

  • Understanding How the Future Unfolds (2017)

Their latest book, Becoming AI Native, explores one of the most pressing challenges for today's organisations: how to move beyond isolated AI experiments and integrate artificial intelligence into business operations, strategies and decision-making.

Why Their Participation Matters for FINBIZZ

Artificial intelligence, automation and digital transformation are no longer conversations reserved for technology companies.

They are changing how businesses operate, how financial decisions are made, how accounting services are delivered and how organisations compete.

For CFOs and finance leaders, AI is reshaping financial planning, forecasting, risk management and decision-making.

For accounting professionals, automation is transforming processes, service models and the skills required to deliver value to clients.

For CEOs and business owners, emerging technologies are influencing competitive advantage, investment priorities and long-term growth strategies.

For technology providers, the challenge is shifting from demonstrating technological capabilities to delivering measurable business outcomes.

FINBIZZ Balkans brings these perspectives into the same conversation.

The participation of Mark Esposito and Terence Tse directly supports the forum's strategic focus on AI and automation, the evolving CFO agenda, technology-enabled finance, organisational transformation and decision-making under pressure.

Their keynote contribution will help connect international thinking with the operational and strategic realities of businesses across Southeast Europe.

Connecting Global Thinking with Regional Business Reality

FINBIZZ Balkans 2027 is designed to bring together CFOs, accountants, auditors, business executives, technology providers, academics and institutional representatives from across the region.

Its programme is structured around six strategic themes, addressing the interconnected challenges shaping the future of finance, accounting and business.

The objective is not simply to discuss emerging trends, but to create an environment where expertise, practical experience and different professional perspectives come together.

The participation of Esposito and Tse reinforces this ambition.

Their work challenges organisations to look beyond individual technologies and consider the broader transformation of business models, leadership, capabilities and decision-making.

Because the question is no longer whether AI will change business. It is how organisations can turn that change into real value.

And that is precisely the kind of conversation FINBIZZ wants to bring to Southeast Europe.
