Terms and Conditions
Terms of participation. This document governs the use of the platform and the purchase of a ticket for FINBIZZ Balkans. By using the platform and by placing an order you accept these terms and conditions.
Who organises the event
The platform at finbizz.eu and the FINBIZZ Balkans event are organised by:
FINBIZZ EOOD, entered in the Commercial Register and the Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities kept by the Registry Agency under UIC 208714643, VAT No. BG208714643, with registered seat and address of management: 15 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., entrance V, Sredets district, 1124 Sofia, Bulgaria.
Contact: [email protected], +359 898 454505. Hereinafter in this document FINBIZZ EOOD is referred to as the “Organiser”, and you, as a visitor of the platform or a purchaser of a ticket, as “you” or the “Participant”. The person using the platform is referred to as the “Visitor”, the person purchasing a ticket as the “Purchaser”, and the person for whom the ticket is intended as the “Participant”. Where the Purchaser is a natural person entering into the contract outside the scope of their commercial or professional activity, that person is a consumer within the meaning of § 13, item 1 of the Additional Provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (the “Consumer”). The form of address “you” refers to the Visitor, the Purchaser or the Participant, as the context requires.
What these terms govern
These terms and conditions govern the use of the platform, the submission of enquiries through its forms and the purchase of a ticket for the event. They apply in the version published on this page at the time your order is placed.
Partnership and sponsorship agreements, participation as an exhibitor and any other commercial arrangement with the Organiser are governed by a separate agreement and are not the subject of these terms. In the event of a conflict between these terms and an individual agreement with the Organiser, the individual agreement prevails.
The information on the platform regarding the programme, the speakers and the partners is of an informative nature and does not constitute a public offer within the meaning of Article 290 of the Commerce Act, except where expressly stated otherwise.
The event
FINBIZZ Balkans 2027 takes place on 14 and 15 April 2027 at Sofia Tech Park, Sofia.
The programme published on the platform is a working draft. The sessions, speakers, times and allocation of stages are confirmed in the course of the preparations and may be changed. A change in individual sessions or speakers does not give rise to a right to return a ticket.
The working language of the event and of the accompanying materials is announced in the programme for each session.
Tickets and prices
The ticket types, the scope of access attached to each of them and the current prices are published on the Tickets page. All prices are in euro and include VAT. The total amount payable, including all taxes and fees, is displayed before the order is confirmed.
Prices change in phases (Early Bird, Standard, Last Call). The price displayed at the time the order is placed applies. The number of tickets at a promotional price is limited and the phase may be closed early once the quantity is exhausted.
Group discounts are applied automatically upon the purchase of a certain number of tickets of the same type in a single order, under the conditions described on the tickets page. A group discount and a promotional code cannot be combined.
Promotional codes are valid for the period and under the conditions for which they were issued. The Organiser may refuse to apply a code where abuse is suspected.
The number of places is limited by the capacity of the halls. An order is deemed accepted only after successful payment and confirmation by the platform.
Order and payment
The order goes through the following steps:
- You select the type and number of tickets and, where applicable, the day of participation.
- You fill in the details of the Purchaser and of each Participant for whom a ticket is intended.
- You review the order summary (type and number of tickets, Participants’ details, total price) and, if necessary, correct any input errors.
- You confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and that you have read the Privacy Policy.
- You pay by card. The payment is processed by Stripe in a field loaded directly from the provider; your card details do not pass through the platform’s servers.
- You receive a confirmation on screen and at the e-mail address provided. The confirmation e-mail contains the order details and these terms and conditions (as an attachment or as a link to the version applicable to the order).
The contract between the Purchaser and the Organiser is deemed concluded at the moment of successful payment. If the payment is not confirmed, the order does not create any rights and no places are reserved. The contract is concluded in Bulgarian or in English, depending on the language version of the platform selected. The Organiser stores the data of each order.
If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within one hour, please check your spam folder and write to us at [email protected], quoting the order number.
Invoices
An invoice is issued upon express request made during the order. For this purpose you provide the company name, UIC or other identification number, VAT number, if any, and billing address.
The invoice is issued by FINBIZZ EOOD and sent by e-mail. A change of the details in an invoice after it has been issued is possible only under the conditions of the applicable tax legislation and following a written request to [email protected].
Withdrawal, return and refund
Right of withdrawal. Pursuant to Article 57, item 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, the right of withdrawal within 14 days does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. The ticket for FINBIZZ Balkans is such a contract, as it is tied to the specific dates on which the event is held. The right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act does not apply to Purchasers who are not Consumers.
Organiser’s policy. Purchased tickets are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the cases under item 09. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person in accordance with item 08 at no additional charge.
A refund of the amount paid is made only in the cases under item 09 and is transferred using the same payment instrument with which the payment was made, within 14 days of the ground for the refund arising.
Change of participant
The ticket is personal and is valid for the person specified at the time of purchase. A change of the participant is possible free of charge until 5 working days before the first day of the event, following a written request to [email protected] from the purchaser’s e-mail address, stating the order number and the details of the new participant.
After that deadline a change is allowed at the Organiser’s discretion and where possible from an organisational point of view. The ticket may not be used by more than one person and may not be split between days, except where the ticket type expressly provides for this.
The resale of tickets for commercial purposes without the Organiser’s written consent is prohibited. The Organiser may refuse access in respect of a ticket acquired in breach of this rule and bears no liability for tickets acquired outside the platform.
Changes, postponement and cancellation
The Organiser reserves the right to change the programme, the speakers, the halls and the times, as well as to replace announced speakers with others of equivalent qualification. Such changes do not give rise to a right to return a ticket. A change of the dates of the event is treated as a postponement, and a change of the city in which it is held or the holding of the event entirely online is treated as a cancellation within the meaning of this item.
Postponement. If the event is postponed to another date, the tickets purchased remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend on the new date, you are entitled to request a full refund of the amount paid within 14 days of the announcement of the new date.
Cancellation. If the event is cancelled in its entirety, the amounts paid are refunded in full. The Organiser does not owe compensation for transport, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the Purchaser or the Participant, save in the case of intent or gross negligence.
Force majeure. The Organiser is not liable for non-performance due to circumstances beyond its control: natural disasters, fire, war, acts of terrorism, epidemic or pandemic, acts of authorities, prohibitions and restrictions, strikes, interruption of the electricity supply or of communication links. In such a case the rules on postponement or cancellation above apply. The Organiser notifies the Purchasers of any change, postponement or cancellation in good time by e-mail and through the platform.
Access and conduct on site
Access to the event is granted following identification at the entrance. The Organiser may introduce personalised badges or other access control and may refuse access in the absence of a valid ticket.
Professional conduct is expected at the venue. The Organiser may refuse or terminate access, without owing a refund, to any person who:
- breaches order, safety or the rules of the venue;
- behaves aggressively, in a discriminatory or offensive manner towards participants, speakers, partners or the team;
- obstructs the holding of the sessions;
- carries out commercial activity, distributes advertising materials or collects contacts in a manner not agreed with the Organiser.
The Participant observes the internal rules and the instructions of the venue staff and is liable for any damage they cause to the venue, to the Organiser or to third parties.
Contacts with partners. The scanning of your badge or QR code by a partner or exhibitor, the request for a meeting with a partner and the provision of your data to a partner for subsequent contact take place only through your own action or with your express consent. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Photography and recording
The Organiser records the event (photographs and video, including recordings of the sessions) for the purposes of its coverage, archive and promotion. Visible signage about the recording is displayed at the venue. You may appear in general footage of the event. The processing of your image is carried out on the basis of the Organiser’s legitimate interest, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you do not wish to be identifiable in published materials, please notify the team on site or write to us at [email protected]. This constitutes the exercise of your right to object under the Privacy Policy and we will make all reasonable efforts to comply with your request.
The filming and recording of sessions by Participants for public distribution is permitted only with the prior written consent of the Organiser and in compliance with the speakers’ rights.
Enquiries through the platform
The forms for registration of interest and for partnership enquiries serve to establish contact. The submission of an enquiry does not create an obligation for the Organiser to enter into a contract or to provide a place.
You submit correct and up-to-date data. The Organiser may decline to consider an enquiry that is manifestly false, automated or submitted in breach of these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on the platform, including texts, graphics, logos, photographs, illustrations and program code, is owned by the Organiser or used with the rightholder’s permission and is protected by the Copyright and Related Rights Act.
The FINBIZZ and FINBIZZ Balkans marks and the related signs and visual identity are subject to the Organiser’s rights.
You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. The reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of the content without express written permission is not allowed.
The presentations and materials of the speakers remain the property of their respective authors. They are made available to participants only if and to the extent that the author has given consent.
Liability
The Organiser exercises due care for the holding of the event in accordance with the announced programme and for the normal operation of the platform, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to it.
The content of the sessions expresses the views of the respective speakers and does not constitute professional advice. Decisions taken on the basis of what is heard or received at the event are the responsibility of the person taking them.
The Organiser is not liable for personal belongings left unattended at the venue, nor for relationships arising between Participants, partners and exhibitors.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organiser’s liability towards a Participant is limited to the amount paid for the ticket. This limitation does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence and does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers under the Consumer Protection Act.
Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy published on the platform. The Policy is of an informative nature and does not form part of the contract.
Where you purchase a ticket for another person, you confirm that you are entitled to provide that person’s data and that you have informed them of the Privacy Policy.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms and all relations arising from the use of the platform and from the purchase of a ticket are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The parties shall endeavour to resolve disputes between them through negotiations. Failing that, disputes with Purchasers who are not Consumers shall be referred to the competent court in Sofia. Disputes with Consumers shall be heard by the court having jurisdiction under the mandatory rules on jurisdiction.
Consumers have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution through the alternative consumer dispute resolution bodies, including the General Conciliation Committee at:
- Commission for Consumer Protection: 4A Slaveykov Square, floors 3, 4 and 6, 1000 Sofia, kzp.bg, tel. 0700 111 22.
Changes to the terms
The Organiser may update these terms and conditions. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last change stated at the beginning. Contracts already concluded are governed by the version in force at the time of the order.
If an individual provision of these terms proves to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision is replaced by operation of law by the applicable mandatory rules.
